The Kean University Educational Opportunities Center (EOC) has joined the blogosphere!

The Kean University Educational Opportunities Center (EOC) has joined the blogosphere!

This blog was created in an effort to bring information directly to prospective admission applicants, especially those of you who are applying for admission to the Kean University EOF Program (aka EEO/EOF) and the Kean University Spanish Speaking Program (with blog posts are  translated into Spanish). Suggestions for admitted freshmen will also be posted so that you new students can make the most of your freshman year in college. Our intention is to ease your admission application process and to encourage you to avail yourself of the assistance available to you as a freshman.

Although some posts will be specifically for Kean University and its EEO/EOF and Spanish Speaking programs, much of the advising and guidance that will be posted can also be applied to the admissions process or being a freshman at most other colleges.

Linda Bradbury, Professional Services Specialist in the Kean University EOC,  is the creator and blogger for this weblog, bringing over 30 years of experience in higher education to the table. She has worked in the Kean University EOC since 2006 having previously worked there as a College Academic Advisor for 21 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Human  Services, Guidance and Counseling, both earned at Montclair State University in Montlcair, New Jersey.
